This DVD is a live recording of a presentation on fear experienced by performance dogs given at the 2007 Clean Run Instructor conference. Many performance dogs   exhibit fear some time during training or trialling due to specific incidences or it may be due to their intrinsic temperament. Some dogs will work through fear easily while others require careful intervention and training. This presentation covers

·         Possible contributing factors to fear – genetic vs environment and the critical stages of     

          development

·         the tools to recognise when a dog is fearful

·         the prevention of fear

·         the techniques to use when the dog is fearful and how to decrease it, etc
