Obedience
Useful for teaching clean fronts, crisp downs, etc. The 12 by 36" size was created because of overwhelming demand and fills a need in the dog training world.
DWD - Useful for teaching various positions in Heelwork plus distance for Freestyle
Agility
The Cato Plank is also designed to be used with the optional Cato Tilt Stand. The Cato Tilt Stand can be used to turn the Cato Plank into a multi-height teeter that has settings for 2", 5" and 10". These height gradations mean that even the most timid of dogs can learn to enjoy making the teeter move. The teeter configuration is excellent for transitioning agility training to a full-sized teeter training with the different heights making it easier to build bravery incementally.
Fitness
The Cato Tilt Stand can also be used to turn the Cato Plank into an incline board. The steepness of the incline can be adjusted using the settings on the Cato Tilt Stand, or for a steeper incline, the Cato Tilt Stand can be placed on additional Cato Planks/Boards. This can be use to increase challenges to your dog's fitness exercise and differentiate between concentric and eccentric strength training. The teeter configuration is excellent for canine fitness, and puppy proprioceptive development.
Indoor use
The Cato Board Rubber Surface is intended for indoor use because the rubber surface gets too hot outside in the sun. The rubber is easy to sanitize and provides excellent traction with its bi-directional texture.
